The best concealer for mature skin is the one with just enough coverage for your darkest area, in a formula and applicator that let you use very little of it. For most under-eyes that means a hydrating medium-coverage concealer. Full coverage earns its place when circles are deep or spots are dark, and a separate corrector is better than a thicker layer when the shadow is blue or purple.
The six picks below are current products with exact Amazon listings. Coverage, finish, shade counts and crease claims come from each maker’s own product page, checked October 5, 2026. Nobody here has worn or tested these concealers, so “crease-resistant” always means the maker’s claim, not a measured result.

Best full coverage: Clinique Even Better All-Over Concealer + Eraser
Choose the Clinique when your circles or dark spots show through a medium-coverage concealer. Clinique lists it as full coverage with a natural finish in 32 shades, and says it gives 12-hour color-true wear and “resists creasing/settling and streaking.” The applicator is two-ended: a flocked doe-foot wand to place the product and a built-in sponge to blend it.
It is also the clearest pick here for sensitive eyes. Clinique states the formula is fragrance free, ophthalmologist tested and “safe for sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.” The brand says the formula is fortified with vitamin C, with hyaluronic acid to “hydrate and plump fine, dry lines” and caffeine. Because it is full coverage, use a small amount. Clinique’s directions are to stipple with the sponge rather than swipe.

Best hydrating drugstore pick: L’Oréal Paris True Match Radiant Serum Concealer
For dry under-eyes with ordinary shadows, the L’Oréal leans hardest into hydration. The brand describes medium coverage with a radiant finish, “infused with 1.5% Hyaluronic Acid and Caffeine,” and claims up to 24 hours of hydration. The brand says the lightweight formula “doesn’t settle into fine lines or creases.”
It comes in 24 shades and is fragrance-free, paraben-free, vegan and non-comedogenic, according to L’Oréal. The iron-shaped applicator has a pointed tip for the inner corner and a broad edge for blending. L’Oréal suggests a shade that matches or is slightly lighter to brighten the under-eye, and setting powder afterward to help prevent creasing.

Best for quick application: Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser Multi-Use Concealer
The Maybelline is the easiest pick for a fast routine. You twist the applicator until the concealer shows on its built-in sponge tip, so there is no separate tool to carry. Maybelline describes medium coverage, up to 12 hours of moisturizing wear and a “crease-resistant formula” that “doesn’t settle into fine lines and wrinkles.” The brand calls it a good choice for mature skin for that reason. That is the maker’s view.
The range has 18 concealer shades and four matching color correctors. Maybelline’s directions say to put the yellow Neutralizer under the concealer for extreme dark circles. The formula is vegan, non-comedogenic and talc-free, and it contains Haloxyl, which the brand says helps with the look of dark circles. Maybelline also says plainly that it is not waterproof.

Best light, brightening coverage: Laura Geller The Bright Stuff
The Bright Stuff is for under-eyes that look tired rather than dark. Laura Geller rates it light-to-medium coverage with a satin finish, describes a “light and weightless liquid formula,” and lists it as suited to dark circles, sallow skin, hooded eyelids and mature skin. The brand says it “instantly helps to brighten dark circles.”
The applicator is metal, which Laura Geller says feels cool on tired eyes. Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid and caffeine are in the ingredient list it publishes. The brand’s product page lists seven shades, a smaller range than the drugstore picks, so check the match. Laura Geller’s directions are to dot it under the eye, tap to blend, and build only where needed.

Best satin-finish full coverage: e.l.f. Hydrating Camo Concealer
If you want full coverage in a hydrating formula with a satin finish, the e.l.f. is the pick. e.l.f. describes a full-coverage liquid concealer with a “satin, crease-resistant finish” that is long-lasting and gives “a boost of hydration.” It comes in 25 shades, uses a large doe-foot applicator, and is non-comedogenic.
e.l.f. lists it for oily, dry and combination skin. Like the Clinique, it is a full-coverage formula, so the maker’s own tip is the one to follow: stipple where you need heavier coverage and buff out the rest.
Best for puffy mornings: COVERGIRL Simply Ageless Triple Action Concealer
COVERGIRL built this one around the applicator. The brand calls it a “Cooling Ceramic Wand” that gives “an instant cold effect” and depuffs as it conceals. Its directions are to dot the concealer on and use the wand “like a facial tool,” and to keep it in the fridge for extra cooling.
COVERGIRL describes lightweight medium-to-full coverage, a formula with hyaluronic complex, vitamin C and niacinamide, and 10 shades. The brand says it is non-comedogenic and dermatologist tested. Its pages call the finish both radiant and satin, so the table doesn’t list one.

How to choose a concealer for mature skin
Start with coverage, not the label. Medium coverage (L’Oréal, Maybelline) suits everyday shadows. Light-to-medium (Laura Geller) suits dullness. Full coverage (Clinique, e.l.f.) is for circles or spots that still show through. More pigment means you need less product. The usual mistake is applying a full-coverage formula as thickly as a light one.
Correct before you cover very dark circles. If the shadow is blue, purple or brown, a corrector under a thin layer of concealer avoids stacking concealer. Maybelline sells matching correctors and tells you to use the yellow Neutralizer under the concealer for extreme dark circles.
Pick a finish you like on dry skin. If you want a little glow, look at the radiant, satin and moisturizing finishes (L’Oréal, Laura Geller, e.l.f., Maybelline). Clinique lists a natural finish. If your under-eyes are dry, the hydrating claims from L’Oréal (24-hour hydration) and Maybelline (12 hours of moisturizing wear) are the ones to look for.
Think about the applicator. A built-in sponge (Maybelline) or a sponge-plus-wand (Clinique) means one less tool. A cooling metal or ceramic tip (Laura Geller, COVERGIRL) suits puffy mornings. A doe-foot (e.l.f., Clinique) is made for dotting; e.l.f. describes its applicator as built “for an even and precise application.”
Check fragrance if your eyes react. Clinique and L’Oréal both state their concealers are fragrance free, and Clinique adds that it is ophthalmologist tested and safe for contact lens wearers.
Set lightly. L’Oréal’s directions suggest setting powder to lock the concealer in and help prevent creasing. A small amount of loose powder pressed only where you crease goes further than powdering the whole under-eye. Our loose powder list and primer list cover those steps.

Frequently Asked Questions
Should mature skin use full-coverage or medium-coverage concealer?
Start with the lightest coverage that hides what you want hidden. Medium-coverage formulas such as L’Oréal True Match Radiant Serum and Maybelline Instant Age Rewind Eraser suit typical shadows. Full-coverage formulas such as Clinique Even Better All-Over and e.l.f. Hydrating Camo are better kept for deep circles and spots, applied in small amounts.
What helps with very dark circles that concealer alone doesn’t hide?
Maybelline’s own directions say to put its yellow Neutralizer color corrector under the concealer for extreme dark circles. A corrector placed only on the darkest area, with a thin layer of concealer over it, avoids piling on more concealer.
Does a crease-resistant claim guarantee no creasing?
No. Crease-resistant is the maker’s claim about the formula. How much you apply, what is underneath and whether you set it all change the result. L’Oréal’s directions, for example, suggest setting powder to help prevent creasing.
